FRESH Kingfish from Germany
FRESH Kingfish, Yellowtail / Hamachi (lat.: Seriola lalandi) - officially also called yellowtail mackerel - is a first-class sea fish. FRESH produces the Kingfish in certified FRESH-catch quality in biologi- cally cleaned saltwater pools free from undesirable environmental influences and independent of the sea.
Thanks to its central location in Saarland, FRESH can supply consumers throughout Europe in urban centres with its „catch of the day“ from the fish farm - a German quality product with a deep ecological footprint.
The firm, white to pink meat has a pure, finely spiced taste. It is ideal for eating raw as sushi, sashimi, carpaccio or ceviche. The fillet of the yellowtail mackerel is easy to prepare: the firm fish tastes especially good when grilled or roasted in the oven.
