Trout from the Taurus Mountains
From the crystal clear melt and glacier water of the Taurus Mountains comes our high quali- ty Selina trout. At a year-round constant water temperature of 14 °C, the fish mature at this optimal temperature in countercurrent basins to become trout and salmon trout. The special taste of the Selina trout is due to the transport route to the production site, which is uniquely short in Turkey and located in the immediate vicinity of the breeding farm.
The direct processing in the production plant transforms the trout into slaughtered and/
or boned trout, trout fillets or smoked trout fillets - all in one place. Sustainability and
the highest standards, which are guaran-
teed by GLOBAL GAP and IFS, among others, round off the highest quality demands on the products. Even chefs from the USA and Japan are convinced of these high-quality premium products. Dan Lachs GmbH distributes these high-quality products exclusively for its partner company Selina.
Forellen aus dem Taurusgebirge
Aus dem glasklaren Schmelz- und Gletscherwasser des Taurus Gebirges entstammt unsere hochqualita- tive Selina-Forelle. Bei einer ganzjährigen, konstan- ten Wassertemperatur von 14 °C reifen die Fische bei dieser optimalen Temperatur in Gegenstrombe- cken zu Forellen und Lachsforellen. Bedingt durch den in der Türkei einzigartig kurzen Transportweg zur Produktionsstätte, welche in unmittelbarer Nähe von der Zuchtfarm entfernt ist, entsteht der beson- dere Geschmack der Selina-Forelle.
Durch die direkte Verarbeitung in der Produktions- stätte werden die Forellen zu geschlachteten und/ oder entgräteten Forellen, Forellenfilet oder geräu- cherten Forellenfilets veredelt – alles an einem Ort. Nachhaltigkeit und höchste Standards, welche unter anderem durch GLOBAL GAP und IFS gewährleis- tet sind, runden die höchsten Qualitätsansprüche an die Produkte ab. Selbst Chefköche aus den USA und Japan sind von diesen hochwertigen Premium- Produkten überzeugt.
