 Ambiente 2023, Frankfurt
Three trade fairs under one roof
Change has come to the expo landscape, so trade fair organiser Messe Frankfurt is taking proac- tive realignment steps that will affect the Ambi- ente fair. Scheduled for 3 – 7 February 2023 at Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, Ambiente will be held in parallel with Christmasworld and Crea- tiveworld, giving retailers a chance to survey the entire consumer goods world on one single occa- sion during the year. “We have fully realised that we need a radical rethinking of our trade fair formats, and that changes have to be made. One such change is holding three major fairs all at once,” explains Julia Uherek, Messe Frankfurt’s Head of Consumer Goods Fairs, “as this creates a new kind of physical trade fair experience.”
This modified format appears to be well-received, as Messe Frankfurt estimates there will be 4,700 exhibitors from 80 countries. “Demand is over- whelming; the market is showing great approval of the concept. Each of these leading trade fairs
features top international brands along with in- teresting up-and-comers, which means we will be showing unmatched variety across the qual- ity spectrum. These are internationally impor- tant events, as Philipp Ferger, Head of Consumer Goods Fairs, notes with enthusiasm: “The entire world is converging on Frankfurt once again.”
Ambiente is a fair where a unique blend of new ideas and products is on exhibit. The internation- al interior design community will again meet up in the Living section, where the latest major fur- nishing trends and the most important products can be observed at the stands of key exhibitors. The Interiors & Decoration area in Hall 3.0. has it all when it comes to furnishing and decor. And the new area “Ambiente Working” in Hall 3.1, with a special section entitled “Future of Work”, is devoted to showing interior design concepts and modern solutions for offices, work areas, co- working and mobile working at home.
Ambiente Trends 23+
Ambiente Trends 23+ provides visitors an over- view of the latest products across the consumer goods spectrum – showcasing modern work- place trends under the New Work paradigm in 2023. The Trends area in the foyer of Hall 4.1 is the first place to go for a live trend experience.
Messe Frankfurt hired design studio Stilbüro bora.herke.palmisano to study the latest relevant trends in the consumer goods sector and pick out products of the 2023 Ambiente exhibitors that are aligned with the trend themes. These three trend themes have a catalysing effect, stimulat- ing creativity and inviting visitors to take out-of- the-ordinary perspectives. The themes pick up
