TRADE FAIR PREVIEW
  28 I / 2023
Heimtextil Trends 23 / 24
Textiles Matter
The much-awaited 2023 trade fair year kicks off for the furnishing industry with Heimtextil in Frankfurt. This home textiles trade fair has long been a key ‘trend barometer’ for monitoring de- velopments in furnishing textiles of every vari- ety. Thus it is no accident that the centrepiece of the fair is its ‘trend show’, to be held in Hall 9.0 this time, formally titled Textiles Matter.
Being held in Frankfurt/Main from 10 – 13 Janu- ary, 2023, the fair theme this time around is
circular economy, featuring innovative textiles presented with high impact within the ‘Trend Space’ area. The Heimtextil Trend Council, com- prised of Studio FranklinTill of London, Stijlin- stituut Amsterdam and the Danish agency Spott Trends & Business, deploys its industry exper- tise to analyse and forecast for the national and international markets. There is greater focus now on sustainability and circular economy than ever before, and these will be dominant aspects of the trends for the 23/24 season.
